Dr. Aviezer Israeli. Dr. Israeli is the president of Medionics International Ltd. Dr. Israeli is a graduate of the Israel Institute of Technology and The Institute of Science and Technology of Manchester University (UK). He holds diplomas in management and international marketing from Wharton School of Business (USA) and the Hebrew University (Israel). Dr Israeli has long experience of management of industrial and RTD projects, and is an internationally recognized authority in plating and surface technologies. He was the president of the International Union for Surface Finishing, the umbrella organisation of over 20 national societies. A keynote speaker in many international conferences, and a Fellow of the Institute of Metal Finishing of the UK. Currently he is the President of the Materials and Processes Society of Israel and former president of the Society for Plating and Finishing Technologies of Israel. His experience includes the management of engineering and production industrial units, and of RTD projects in large companies and SMEs, manager of industrial development of electronic and optronics devices and medical instruments. He was a coordinator of joint university and industry projects. Dr. Israeli was an entrepreneur of two start up companies, and promoter of innovations. Areas of research include plating and surface finishing, materials technology, micro-electronics and electro-optics, medical instrumentation, production technologies and environmental policy. Dr. Israeli was the coordinator of the National Committee for Advanced Materials of the Government of Israel.
