Medionics International Ltd. initiated and participated in many projects in high tech, materials technologies, entrepreneurship, environmental practice and policy. Medionics performed such R&D activities for the European Commission 5th Framework Programme, the Ministry of Science, the Ministry of the Environment, The Israel Center of Industrial Research and Development and other public and private enterprises. Some of the projects are: Study of the Scientific and Technological requirements of local industry in advanced materials technology. Substitution of Chromium and other hazardous Metals in the Plating Industries. Coordination of the national committee for strategic R&D in materials science and technology. Environmental policy in research and development programme for the governmental and the public sector in Israel. Review of Wet Processes for Micro and Nano electronics devices. SURFILM, Knowledge Based Functional Surfaces and Films (EC FP5 project). Participation in the technology transfer and innovation financing programmes of the EC. Development of an educational program for high school students on the conservation of the environment.
